Work in the R&D-focused Infosys Center for Emerging Technology Solutions, incubating NextGen services and building capabilities across AI and ML, cloud technologies, and advanced analytics. Deployed NixOS-based AI sandbox environments on HPE bare-metal servers for rapid prototyping and model experimentation, and contribute to adaptive systems, automation, and cognitive solutions for enterprise digital transformation.

Architect and maintain a microservices platform for NYC commercial real-estate intelligence. Built dealflow automation with AI-powered email classification, ReACT-style agentic loops, autonomous browser automation, and LLM document processing; developed sub-20ms geocoding and high-throughput ACRIS scrapers. Manage PLUTO zoning and tax data on NixOS, ZFS, Terraform, Podman, Prometheus, and Grafana across Rails 8, FastAPI, Go, React, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Elasticsearch, and AWS.

Maintained AWS infrastructure, monitoring, and CI/CD within a small engineering team. Reduced application operating costs by approximately 45%, built custom monitoring and Prometheus exporters, and used self-hosted GitHub Actions runners to accelerate delivery pipelines.

Maintained and improved AWS infrastructure for an event-driven, high-traffic application. Owned the scaling and reliability of Cassandra and InfluxDB across massive datasets, handled the broader range of DevOps and SRE work, and regularly helped mitigate attacks against the infrastructure.

Worked closely with software engineering teams to build reusable, modular Terraform for a specific AWS application stack. Managed and monitored approximately 15 customer AWS accounts, implemented custom monitoring and VPN solutions, maintained CI/CD pipelines, and improved build times.

Built a private cloud on bare-metal servers with Apache CloudStack, then designed and operated the infrastructure running on top of it. Managed the entire environment as infrastructure as code using Ansible, Terraform, Packer, and Docker.

Joined in a SysOps and DevOps role that also included R&D and product proof-of-concept work, then advanced to Director of Infrastructure with responsibility for the operations team and all production infrastructure. Worked extensively with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD, including automated pipelines that drastically reduced deployment times for an existing production application.

Joined shared hosting operations as a Systems Administrator and progressed to an engineering role on the Hosting Automation Team. Managed mixed Windows and Linux production environments, mitigated network attacks, and resolved configuration, performance, and capacity issues. Helped automate daily operational work to reduce team load and production downtime.

Served as lead engineer for a San Francisco-based online catering company, refactoring and improving its existing Ruby on Rails application.

Contracted with the Small Business Services team to migrate Yahoo Small Business Services from Yahoo to Aabaco, while supporting day-to-day operations across production, development, and QA environments.

Took ownership of management and monitoring for a range of enterprise applications, including deployments, incident triage, and troubleshooting across Linux and Windows. Promoted to Systems Administrator II after repeatedly solving difficult infrastructure problems spanning availability and disaster recovery.

Led recovery of a project that was four months behind schedule, using Ruby on Rails to prototype and deploy the requested feature set within two weeks. Also maintained the application and oversaw and mentored new Ruby developers.

Split time between managing internal infrastructure, operating the company’s small ISP, and supporting customer networks and servers. Frequently led projects, managed technical onboarding and integrations, partnered with sales teams to identify opportunities, and delivered solutions tailored to each customer’s needs.
